Hey there, as some of you surely know, in approximately a month I will be hopping on a plane at SeaTac bound for a land far far away: Thailand. As I step onto that flying people tube, a new chapter of my life will commence. In fact, I think it’s going to be more like a new book of my life or at least a very dense and colorful chapter. In the next 7 to 19 months I will be traveling to a great variety of places, some of which I don’t yet know I will travel to. The ones I actually plan to visit are Thailand, Malaysia (specifically Kuala Lumpur), Bali, Australia, New Zealand, and Chile. I hope to also throw a week or so in Fiji or Tahiti into the mix. And I would love to go back to Costa Rica for a while, but no plans have formed for me at this time. Plans in general are actually pretty unformed at this point. Save for a couple short google docs with some notes scrawled across them, I am entirely winging it. This certainly will lend itself to greatly increasing the adventure factor (both a good and bad thing I think). Regardless of how much I do or don’t plan, I think this whole thing will turn out to be an awfully great adventure (to steal the words of peter pan).
About The “Blog”
I will be posting in here once a week, maybe, probably not. But whenever I do post, I will include some pictures and stories from wherever I happen to be. In my head I figured this would be a regular update kind of thing but in reality I don’t think that will remain “regular” for long. However, I will try to post somewhat regularly with snippets of whats going on in my corner of the world so whoever wants to vicariously live through me can do so at their leisure. Every once in awhile I will add in specific stories of notable experiences I’ve had. That’s pretty much it, hope you enjoy!
